The Curse of La Lorena is the sixth movie in the Conjuring Universe (see also: The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, The Nun, Annabel, and Annabel: Creation), and though it's a bit dumb compared to the first five films, it's just as scary. In fact, the quick moments of the sort of intriguing relief make it worse, because when you think you are feeling comfortable and smiling, something jumps and scares your life. I'm still recovering.
