It's the third movie in this series and like its predecessors, it's also an action-comedy with a heart in the right place, but its story is not it. The plot is a spirited crappie skulk: the story consists of eight characters collecting fifty crores of loot stolen from the Commissioner of Police (Bowman Irani) to chase between eight characters of a flat, generic cat and mouse. The script is stitched into a friend's scene with a thin story line on the cardboard and filled with action drama and comedy. It takes you on a roller-coaster ride of anti-climax moments, laughing with laughter at every scene that pushes you with less-than-opulent dialogue that captures your interest more than you've been shown. The narrative begins to tell us that it is "all about money," and follows along with a song that introduces us to the eight main characters, such as the Broadway musical. They are; Radhe (Ajay Devgan) whose life is life, "Bada aammi ban na hai," and she steals it, her Lucky is Johnny (Sanjay Mishra). Deshbandhu Roy alias Lallan (Itish Deshmukh) is a short-time con-man and trickster and his Durant Pintu (Pitobash Tripathi). Adi (Arshad Warsi) lives with her husband brother Manav (Javed Jaffery) and separated couple, Guju Avinash (Anil Kapoor) and his Maharashtra wife Bindu (Madhuri Dixit-Nene). On the performance front, each performer is effortless and normal. Each pair shares a brilliant chemistry between them and is legitimately funny because they fit in exactly the Brutnik comedy bandwagon. The only strange couple are Madhuri with a point-indestructible pair who appeared a bit insistent and forceful. For starters, the film's plot is weaker than the Richie Bridge we've seen in the campaign. But it does have many strong shoulders, who deliver despite the obvious flaws of writing. The film introduces each to the song of the grand title, with the opening on a penny vassal note. They are instantly jumbled together with an incredible plot twist. While each has a pair of twins, it is the magical pairing of Anil and Madhuri that reveal the most elm moments. The two still share a voracious partnership for a rugged chemistry and a joke. Anil used his natural disposition to hit all the right comic notes for the funny and sweet Marathi Marathi as a painstakingly puny Gujarati accent. Although Ajay Devgn plays well within the confines of his poorly written character, otherwise great Sanjay Mishra, who appears to be seriously annoying. He constantly referred to Radha as (Ajay) brother, trying hard to force jokes on the situation. In the previous installment of the film we saw a better camaraderie between Arshad Warsi and Javed Jafri. The two are mostly stuck in slapstick scenes that do not do enough justice to their combined talent. In the meantime, Riteish Deshmukh has done well with the character of his pan-chewing Rufian Lallan, who literally put the money where it belongs. His scenes with Johnny Lever are hilarious. The rest of the actors, such as Bowman Irani, Mahesh Manjrekar and Esha Gupta, are wasted on half-written characters. Not only the film's depiction, most of the bribes are predictable as well. For the adventurous joke, Total Dhamaal is also distracting in many scenes with little computer graphics. Although the first half is frosty, the second half is too heavy with too many characters in a weak plot. Director Indra Kumar has seized the opportunity to create a sense of continuous humor. Granted, this film had the potential to be a comic roller coaster ride. However, the film is not a slapstick problem, what it brings down is poor writing and editing and
